NLC Elects 2012 Officers, Board of Directors

NLC’s membership elected the 2012
officers and Board of Directors during
the Congress of Cities and Exposition
in Phoenix. Ted Ellis, mayor, Bluffton,
Ind., was elected president. The mem-
bership also voted Marie Lopez Rogers,
mayor, Avondale, Ariz., as first vice
president and chose Chris Coleman,
mayor, Saint Paul, Minn., as second vice
president.
All officers will serve a one-year term
in shaping NLC’s priorities and direct-
ing the organization’s advocacy, research
and membership activities.
